According to the business community, before taking the mound as the ceremonial first pitcher for the game between the Doosan Bears and the Kiwoom Heroes that afternoon, Huang met with the chairman. Park greeted Huang at the central entrance. The two then moved to a reception area on the second floor.
Huang took the mound for the first pitch wearing a Doosan uniform with No. 93, signifying Nvidia's founding year of 1993. Park stepped into the batter's box in a No. 96 uniform, signifying Doosan's founding year of 1896.
Doosan and Nvidia are expected to expand cooperation in the field of physical artificial intelligence (AI). The two companies last year agreed to pursue cooperation to integrate AI technologies into construction equipment, power generation facilities, and robots.
In addition, Huang's daughter, Madison Huang, senior director of Omniverse and Robotics product marketing, visited the Doosan Robotics Innovation Center in April and discussed ways for the two sides to cooperate on technology. The companies also discussed integrating Nvidia's AI and Robotics ecosystem into the intelligent robot solutions and industrial humanoids that Doosan Robotics is developing.
