The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said on the 4th it will pilot the "SME Venture 24 integrated member service."
Prepared as the first phase of upgrading SME Venture 24, the service will be available from 9 a.m. on the 5th. It consolidates access so that major policy services operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and related agencies can be used with a single account.
Until now, small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners had to sign up and log in separately on each agency's website when applying for or using policy funds, startup programs, research and development (R&D), export support, and small business support projects. Going forward, policy services can be used with one integrated member account.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) will first pilot the integrated member service and, to minimize user inconvenience, will operate the existing SME Venture 24 and the new service in parallel for a certain period. It plans to continue improving service quality by gathering on-site feedback.
It will also strengthen high-demand functions such as certificate issuance and searches for support project information. It will push improvements to the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). It plans to gradually build a customized service foundation that reflects the characteristics and needs of individual corporations.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) plans to link policy and support project data based on the integrated member system and to pilot an artificial intelligence (AI)-based support project recommendation service in Sep.
Minister Han Seong-sook of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) said, "This integrated member service is the first step to enable small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners to conveniently use a variety of SME policies," adding, "We will advance it into a platform that helps corporate growth by consolidation of dispersed policy services and improving policy accessibility."
