Nexen Tire said on the 2nd that it launched the premium tire "N'Fera Primus UX" in the domestic market on the 1st.
N'Fera Primus UX is a high-performance tire with wear performance enhanced by 20% compared with its predecessor. It is a "one-tire strategy" product designed to deliver optimal performance anywhere, regardless of vehicle type, including electric vehicles, internal combustion engine vehicles, and sport utility vehicles (SUVs).
First, the overall performance of the product has been improved. Nexen Tire reinforced the filler that shapes the tire to boost high-speed driving stability. With a wider contact patch, driving stability has been further enhanced, and optimizing the tread block design also minimized road noise.
Fuel efficiency has also been improved. By applying a new-material-based compound that reduces energy loss, the tire's lifespan was extended, and a sidewall design that minimizes air resistance improved not only fuel economy for internal combustion engine vehicles but also driving range efficiency for electric vehicles.
Nexen Tire plans to roll out the product in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East markets as well, stepping up efforts to tap the global replacement tire market. A Nexen Tire official said, "Based on the one-tire strategy, we will continue to strengthen our product lineup in global markets."
