Chambit Group, a global leisure infrastructure corporations, said on the 29th that it signed a three-way memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanatour and Parata Airlines for "linking tourism resources between Korea and Vietnam and revitalizing the global MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) and leisure market."
Through the agreement, Chambit Group plans to organically combine Parata Airlines' air network, Hanatour's travel service platform, and its own tourism infrastructure such as Vietnam's Phoenix Golf Resort and Grand Plaza Hotel Hanoi to activate them and speed up its push into the tourism market.
Specifically, they plan to jointly design corporations incentive travel and premium golf package tour products. Hanatour will plan travel products using Chambit Group's leisure infrastructure, and Parata Airlines will support flights and fares optimized for those products.
Chambit Group also plans to consolidation this with various leisure businesses it is rolling out under the COVE brand—golf (COVE SWING), fitness centers (COVE MOVE), pickleball (COVE PICKLEBALL), and camping and retreats (COVE NOMAD)—to provide customers with a differentiated experience.
Before this agreement, Chambit Group signed a business agreement with Parata Airlines on cooperation for airline operations and crew accommodations, and it also signed a business agreement with Hanatour for travel product development and employee welfare cooperation, laying the groundwork for collaboration.
Based on this, the three companies agreed to solidify their partnership on the employee welfare front by cross-offering preferential travel products supplied by Hanatour and exclusive discount benefits from Chambit Group.
The signing ceremony was held on the 28th in Hanoi, Vietnam, with key officials attending, including Chambit Group Vice Chairman Lee Ho-sung, Hanatour Executive Vice President Ryu Chang-ho, and Parata Airlines Vietnam Branch Manager Lee Sang-hoon.
Chambit Group Vice Chairman Lee Ho-sung said, "This three-way agreement will be an important milestone that combines each company's strengths to deliver innovative leisure experiences to global customers," adding, "We expect Chambit Group's brands to successfully take root with our partners and set a new standard in the global tourism market."
