Hanon Systems said on the 26th it plans to expand its global market share from the current 13% to around 15% by 2030 to solidify its position in the world market.
Hanon Systems disclosed the plan at the "2026 global management strategy innovation meeting," held for three days from the 13th at the Daejeon Hankook Tire Technodome for leaders of the global headquarters and regional business groups (RBG).
The targets were unveiled during the companywide strategy session under the theme "Win now lead 2030." Along with the market share goal, the company also announced 2030 targets of 14.7 trillion won in revenue and a 9% operating margin.
To achieve the targets, the company also set three strategic pillars: ▲ cost competitiveness ▲ product leadership ▲ business expansion.
In line with this, it plans to continue strengthening differentiation in next-generation technologies while executing a range of innovation tasks identified through the cost innovation CFT, an initiative underway since July last year.
The meeting also shared organization-specific strategies and key tasks by division to realize the goals. In the research and development (R&D) session, the company shared plans to strengthen capabilities for the software-defined vehicle (SDV) era and the direction of next-generation thermal management technologies.
The production and procurement session focused on measures to streamline operations and strengthen cost competitiveness. Along with directions for workforce management to reinforce the organization and production, the company also announced strategies to spread a proactive culture and to develop talent.
During the meeting, the four regional business groups—HAP (HMG & Asia Pacific), the Americas, Europe, and China—announced regional growth strategies and key customer response strategies, and shared execution road maps and action items to achieve them.
Vice Chair and CEO Lee Soo-il delivered a keynote on the first day of the meeting, encouraging the members who led last year's key achievements and stressing that efforts to drive change must continue to strengthen global competitiveness.
Lee said, "Change and innovation are no longer plans but are taking hold as concrete growth strategies," adding, "Based on collaboration across the organization, we will build a more competitive Hanon Systems."
