A special exhibition where visitors can experience the sensibility of Studio Ghibli, beloved by fans around the world, will be held in Jeju.
Daewon Media will sell early-bird tickets for "Studio Ghibli Exhibition in Jeju" through NOL starting on the 22nd. Early-bird tickets are offered at a 30% discount off the regular price, and details on advance reservations are available on the NOL booking page.
The exhibition is hosted and organized by Daewon Media, with Daewon Broadcasting and Daekyo participating as co-hosts. The exhibition will open on July 11 in the Jeju Fairy Tale Village area.
"Studio Ghibli Exhibition in Jeju" is planned as an experiential exhibition that blends Studio Ghibli's signature warmth and fantasy universe into the space of Jeju. Going beyond a simple indoor display, it recreates the Jeju Fairy Tale Village area as a single Ghibli world to heighten visitor immersion.
Inside the exhibition hall, iconic scenes such as the reclining Totoro and the Catbus from "My Neighbor Totoro" are recreated in real space. Visitors can stroll through the spaces from the works and experience the sensibility of Ghibli animation with all five senses.
The "Kiki's Delivery Service"-themed "Koriko Cafe" and Studio Ghibli's official merchandise shop "Donguri Forest" will also operate. Along the route connecting the exhibition hall and the Koriko Cafe, Kodama forest spirit sculptures will be installed to offer visitors an even deeper sense of immersion.
A Daewon Media official said, "We plan to offer a new kind of exhibition experience that harmonizes Jeju's nature with Ghibli's universe," adding, "It will be a special memory not only for Ghibli fans but also for family visitors."
