Weverse Brain said on the 22nd that it has newly joined the K-AI Alliance, a domestic artificial intelligence (AI) corporations consortium led by SK Group.
The K-AI Alliance is a private sector-centered AI collaboration body launched by SK Telecom in Feb. 2023. Currently, 46 domestic and overseas corporations, including Nota, Lablup, Rebellions, Moloco, and Twelve Labs, are participating. Recently, as the SK SUPEX Council AI Committee took over operations, its role has expanded into a group-level AI cooperation platform.
Weverse Brain joined as the only Edtech corporations among the 46 corporations. It plans to incorporate its in-house Conversational AI technological capabilities and speech data-based capabilities into cooperation models within the alliance, and to accelerate efforts to target related markets such as corporate training and global learning platforms.
Cho Se-won, head of Weverse Brain, said, "Based on the technological capabilities that have independently built the core pipeline of Conversational AI and the speech data asset, we will play a differentiated role within the alliance," and added, "We will also contribute to entry into the global market."
