Tailim Paper said on the 21st that it carried out the eco-friendly social contribution campaign "Tailim plogging."
"Tailim plogging" began in 2021 and marks its sixth edition this year. It is a participatory environmental campaign in which employees directly collect household waste around streets and rivers.
This campaign was held simultaneously at four business sites nationwide, including Ansan, Uiryeong, Masan and Jeongeup. Employees at the Uiryeong business site carried out trash collection along the Nam River basin and nearby parking areas after the local festival "Uiryeong Hong Uijeonggun Festival" ended. At the Jeongeup business site, they conducted environmental cleanup activities around the Jeongeupcheon area in coordination with the local welfare center.
Tailim Packaging also held a "Love Dream Box" delivery event for 60 children from low-income families in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province. The Dream Boxes contained stationery sets, snacks and encouragement message cards.
An official said, "Employees directly took part in the packing work using corrugated boxes produced by Tailim Packaging," adding that it was "a social contribution activity linked to our core business."
