Renault Korea said on the 21st that through a promotion underway this month, it is offering an industry-leading residual value guarantee of 67% for three years to customers who purchase the large midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV) Filante and the midsize SUV Grand Koleos.
For the Filante Hybrid E-Tech Iconic trim, with a 20% down payment under the Smart Balloon installment plan, the monthly payment is about 300,000 won for 36 months. After that, when repurchasing a new Renault Korea vehicle, customers can return the vehicle by paying only about 1.4 million won additionally.
The Grand Koleos Hybrid E-Tech Iconic can also be driven for about 260,000 won per month when using the MFS residual value guarantee installment plan. Customers who drive less than 10,000 kilometers a year receive a residual value guarantee of about 69% and can return the vehicle after 36 months without any additional payment.
A Renault Korea official said, "Rather than simply lowering the vehicle price, this is a program that reduces the burden itself by guaranteeing the vehicle's future value."
The Filante is Renault's global flagship E-segment crossover that combines the strengths of a sedan and an SUV. It is equipped with a series-parallel dual-motor hybrid system with a maximum output of 250 horsepower, frequency-sensitive dampers (SFD), active noise cancellation (ANC), and first-class lounge seats.
It also features advanced connectivity tailored to the SDV (software-defined vehicle) era, including the AI-based voice assistant "adot Auto," an openR panoramic display, free 5G data, and FOTA-based remote updates.
The Grand Koleos is also posting strong sales in the midsize SUV market. Since its launch in 2024, cumulative sales have reached about 69,000 units, and it has won three "SUV of the Year" titles and received the highest rating from KNCAP.
