Short-form specialist company "WitU" will begin hiring to expand its global commerce business, including TikTok Shop, and to strengthen the creator ecosystem.
WitU said on the 19th that, starting this year, it will strengthen its back-office organization and accelerate the buildout of a creator economy ecosystem that enables consolidation between short-form creators and brands/commerce. To that end, it plans to hire a double-digit number of people across a total of 14 roles this year.
WitU is a short-form content and commerce corporations founded in 2019. It has expanded its short-form commerce marketing capabilities by collaborating with global platform corporations such as TikTok, Meta, and Google. It currently also runs short-form creator management and advertising, commerce, and media solutions businesses.
This hiring round focuses on expanding the TikTok Shop and global affiliate businesses. Open roles include: ▲ creator advertising planner (AE) ▲ creator commerce manager (MD) ▲ creator economy manager ▲ global creator affiliate partnerships manager ▲ global affiliate marketer (Southeast Asia) ▲ TikTok Shop live operations ▲ short-form media planner (AM) ▲ short-form advertising planner ▲ HR and general affairs ▲ finance and accounting.
Meanwhile, WitU strengthened its global short-form commerce competitiveness last year by newly hiring about 20 people in its core TikTok Shop institutional sector. It is also building a performance-based compensation system and working to improve the work environment and benefits programs.
