KleanNara said on the 18th it is rolling out a value menstrual pad priced in the 1,000-won range, "Pure Klean Sanitary Pad (10-count)," in collaboration with Asung Daiso Co.
The product was planned to target consumers whose burden for daily necessities has grown due to high inflation. By leveraging Asung Daiso Co.'s distribution network, the company aimed to improve price accessibility while maintaining the core quality and safety of the pads.
Pure Klean Sanitary Pad applies a structure that reduces leakage to enhance wearing stability. It uses a naturally derived pulp absorbent for comfort, and all products are manufactured at KleanNara's Cheongju plant.
The product is manufactured in accordance with the quasi-drug standards under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, and it has completed testing for the standards and specifications of sanitary products. Regular safety tests are also conducted for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
A KleanNara official said, "We developed the product based on strict quality standards so consumers can use it with confidence," adding, "We will introduce reasonably priced, high-quality products through various channels."
