Mercedes-Benz said on the 18th that it began preorders for the facelifted version of the premium full-size sedan "S-Class," called "The new S-Class."
The new S-Class features Mercedes-Benz's most extensive changes within a single generation, with every detail meticulously refined. More than 50% of the vehicle—about 2,700 components—has been newly developed or redesigned.
Preorders are available at 65 official Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Korea. Customers can also request consultations on the Mercedes-Benz Store, the online sales platform. The new S-Class and the Maybach S-Class are scheduled for official domestic launch in the third quarter this year, with detailed specifications to be announced later.
Mercedes-Benz Korea said the entire S-Class lineup adopts the Mercedes-Benz operating system (MB.OS) to offer a more intuitive and personalized digital experience, and that the newly improved powertrains and advanced driver-assistance technologies deliver the S-Class's signature stable and relaxed driving feel.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class comes in six trims: ▲ S 350 d 4MATIC ▲ S 450 4MATIC ▲ S 450 4MATICC Long Exclusive ▲ S 450 4MATIC Long AMG Line ▲ S 500 4MATIC Long ▲ S 580 4MATIC Long. Prices range from 154 million won to 270 million won including VAT (based on a 5% special consumption tax).
The Maybach S-Class will be offered in three trims: ▲ Maybach S 580 ▲ Maybach S 580 MANUFAKTUR ▲ Maybach S 680. Prices range from 317 million won to 407 million won including VAT.
To mark the S-Class launch, Mercedes-Benz Korea will also release two limited editions: the S 450 4MATIC Long AMG Line "AMG Line Plus Edition" and the S 500 4MATIC Long "Sparkling Black Edition." In addition, it introduced loyalty care services including cash discounts, extended warranty products, and tire protection.
