Kia said on the 18th that it has released a model-year update of the Morning, the representative mini car, called "the 2027 Morning," and started full-scale sales. The model features enhanced value by making safety and convenience features standard and adding new options.
Kia made a light-emitting diode (LED) map lamp standard on all trims of the 2027 Morning. The map lamp is the light located at the front of the interior ceiling, above the rearview mirror, to improve visibility. It also made a driver's knee air bag standard on all trims of the 1.0 gasoline model.
Kia made a new 10.25-inch cluster standard starting with the 2027 Morning Signature trim. Inside, it added a new interior color called Ice Green.
The 2027 Morning is priced at 14.21 million won for the 1.0 gasoline passenger model ▲ Trendy, 16.01 million won ▲ Prestige, 18.16 million won ▲ Signature, and 19.11 million won ▲ GT Line. The 1.0 gasoline van is ▲ Trendy 13.86 million won and ▲ Prestige 14.51 million won. Compared with the previous model, the passenger and van (based on the Trendy trim) models rose by 260,000 won and 110,000 won, respectively.
A Kia official said, "Based on the core affordability of mini cars, we will offer customers a more competitive product."
