HD Hyundai XiteSolution said on the 17th that it signed a large-scale forklift supply contract with the Algerian government.
They are 316 forklifts in total—10-ton (t), 25t, and 30t classes—used for loading and transporting heavy cargo at large construction sites such as shipyards and ports.
The contract is worth about 37 billion won, and HD Hyundai XiteSolution will deliver the forklifts in stages by Aug.
Earlier, HD Hyundai XiteSolution won orders for about 50 and about 40 small and midsize forklifts from an automobile parts corporations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and a logistics center corporations in Syria, respectively. The contracts total 4 billion won.
An HD Hyundai XiteSolution official said, "We are expanding sales channels by identifying key customers that operate large-scale enterprise in emerging markets where demand for infrastructure investment is increasing."
