SK Group will integrate its semiannual strategy meeting and the knowledge management platform "Icheon Forum," which had been held separately each year. The move aims to increase the density of communication between management and employees in line with the changing industrial environment and to push the group's AI-centered strategy with greater speed.
According to the industry on the 15th, SK Group will hold the "New Icheon Forum" from the 11th to the 13th next month for three days and two nights at the SKMS Institute in Icheon, Gyeonggi. The event combines the management strategy meeting held every June and the Icheon Forum in August into one.
By integrating the two events, which had been held at different times, and unifying the discussion platform, the group intends to maximize execution. SK Group plans to make the New Icheon Forum a regular event every June going forward.
The core keyword of this year's forum is expected to be "AI acceleration." At the event, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and chief executives (CEOs) of key affiliates such as SK Innovation, SK Telecom, and SK hynix are expected to focus on concrete action plans to secure leadership in the AI industry and group-level strategies to create synergy.
