DSE, a specialist in electricity and lighting corporations, said on the 13th that it released the aluminum multi-tap "Aluba Pro."
Aluba Pro is a six-outlet product with leakage and overload cutoff functions. It comes in two function-specific types, in white and black, and with power cord lengths of 1.5m and 3m, for a total of eight variants.
As simultaneous use of high-power appliances such as air conditioners, dryers, and induction cooktops has recently increased, demand for multi-taps is also rising. Accordingly, the risk of heat generation and fire due to overload is growing. In particular, in dry seasons, a small spark can combine with dust and lead to a fire, making cutoff performance and material safety important.
Aluba Pro applies a function that cuts power within 0.03 seconds when it detects an abnormal current. It is equipped with an LED cutoff status indicator so users can check whether the breaker is operating.
The product's exterior uses aluminum. Its nonflammable material properties help reduce the possibility of fire spread, and its high thermal conductivity quickly releases internal heat to the outside, reducing temperature rise during prolonged use.
A DSE official said, "It is time to recognize that a multi-tap is not a consumable but a core device responsible for electrical safety," adding, "With precise cutoff functions tailored to high-output appliance environments and nonflammable aluminum material, we will provide consumers with a safe power-use environment."
