BMW Korea said on the 11th it will officially launch the BMW M850i Gran Coupe M Performance in Korea.
The vehicle is a high-performance model of the BMW 8 Series. It features upgraded specifications such as seats, interior leather materials, and suspension. The 8 Series is a large coupe in the upper 4-meter range in length.
The front end features the M Performance package, including the black kidney grille unique to BMW's design. BMW said it emphasized a dynamic and premium feel by finishing various parts of the body in black, including the M Sport brakes in black. The interior uses premium leather on the seats, and buyers can choose among three body colors to suit their preferences.
The BMW M850i Gran Coupe M Performance is equipped with an M TwinPower Turbo V8 gasoline engine. The engine delivers a maximum output of 530 horsepower and peak torque of 76.5 kg·m. Paired with an 8-speed sport automatic transmission, it accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
It also comes with Adaptive M Suspension Professional. BMW said it "controls damping force more precisely than the previous model and provides a dynamic driving feel." M Sport brakes and Integral Active Steering are also standard.
It is also equipped with convenience features such as Driving Assistant Professional and a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system.
The price of the BMW 850i Gran Coupe M Performance is 149.7 million–151.9 million won including VAT.
