On May 8, Gongyoung Home Shopping said it will run promotions in May, the "month of family," to boost consumption of products from Korea's small and midsize businesses and agricultural, livestock, and fisheries goods.
Gongyoung Home Shopping will hold a customer participation event, "Oh daily shopping points," from the 11th to the 31st. During the event, one customer who purchases a Gongyoung Home Shopping product each day will be selected by drawing to receive rewards points worth 500,000 won. There is no separate application; purchasing customers are entered automatically, and winners can be checked on June 9 via the Gongyoung Home Shopping online mall's event winner notice. The points are scheduled to be paid on June 19.
During the same period, it will also run the "Run points marathon" event, which offers up to 10,000 won in rewards points based on cumulative purchase amounts. It applies to customers who purchase broadcast products, and to participate, customers must complete "Apply for rewards points" on the Gongyoung Home Shopping online mall event page during the event period. Purchases of 50,000 won or more receive 2,000 won in points; 100,000 won or more, 3,000 won; and 150,000 won or more, 5,000 won. The points are scheduled to be paid in a lump sum on June 15.
There will also be an event for new customers throughout May. New sign-ups to Gongyoung Home Shopping or customers with no purchases in the past three months can receive a 10% discount coupon. It is applicable to purchases of 30,000 won or more, with a maximum discount of 10,000 won. Customers who use the coupon will receive an additional 2,000 won in rewards points.
Meanwhile, in March, Gongyoung Home Shopping appointed Chief Executive Officer Lee Il-yong and is moving to strengthen its business competitiveness.
