Hyundai Motor said on the 7th that it will simultaneously launch facelifted versions of its core commercial vehicles, the Mighty, Pavis and Xcient. Hyundai Motor said it applied a design that shares the brand identity while preserving each model's characteristics through this facelift.
The New 2027 Mighty returns as a facelift 11 years after its 2015 debut. Hyundai Motor said it applied three grilles to the new Mighty's front and completed a family look with a V-shaped design. Inside, a 12.3-inch cluster and AVN display were added to improve visibility when operating infotainment, and an Advanced Eco Roll feature that boosts fuel efficiency during coasting was also applied.
The New 2027 Pavis, a facelifted version of the Pavis, is the first update in about seven years. The front features vertical-horizontal H-shaped graphics, and the interior, like the Mighty, gets a 12.3-inch cluster and AVN display. A Prestige Max trim was added for customers who prefer a high-load long wheelbase. The transmission was upgraded from a 6-speed to a 9-speed automatic, improving power performance and fuel economy.
The 2027 Xcient, a new model, features improved braking performance and durability. Hyundai Motor said durability was enhanced for long hours of operation by applying splined-type disc brakes, bushings and a variable-flow power steering pump. It also added a host of driver-assistance systems, including smart cruise control with forward collision-avoidance assist and a stop-and-go function.
The 2027 Xcient fuel cell electric truck (FCEV), which underwent a near-new-model-level facelift, was also launched the same day. It features a V-shaped radiator grille and an improved fuel cell system.
In addition, Hyundai Motor said it applied windshield glass to all three commercial vehicles to minimize not only body flex but also external noise intrusion. A next-generation infotainment system based on ccNC supports over-the-air software updates and more. Passenger car-level convenience features such as push-button start, an electronic parking brake and full-auto air conditioning were also added in force.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "We actively reflected commercial customers' real-world environments and needs to improve durability and overall product value," adding, "We will continue to serve as a partner that enhances business competitiveness at logistics and construction sites."
