LS Electric said on the 6th that it will participate in North America's largest power and energy exhibition, "IEEE PES T&D 2026," to be held in Chicago, U.S., on the 5th to 7th (local time), and unveil next-generation power solutions tailored to the North American market.
IEEE PES T&D is a leading North American transmission and distribution exhibition organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Power & Energy Society and is held every two years.
At this exhibition, LS Electric plans to highlight its total solution capabilities across the entire transmission and distribution infrastructure, spanning from power plants and substations to industrial plants, large buildings, and data centers.
It will showcase a lineup of direct current power distribution solutions, including a UL-certified DC switchboard essential for entering the North American market, as well as core power equipment such as circuit breakers, switchgear, and STATCOMs (static synchronous compensators), including an extra-high-voltage 345-kilovolt (kV) class transformer. It also plans to unveil highly reliable power distribution systems and high-efficiency power equipment specialized for hyperscale data centers.
Amid continued expansion of new power infrastructure investment in North America due to the replacement of aging grids and the growth of the AI industry, LS Electric plans to seize opportunities to expand its market presence at this exhibition by leveraging its broad portfolio.
It also plans to strengthen its position as a key operator in the North American data center power market by boosting customer trust based on local project execution experience and supply track records.
An LS Electric official said, "This exhibition will be an opportunity for global customers to once again confirm LS Electric's core solution capabilities," adding, "Based on differentiated competitiveness from extra-high voltage to data centers and DC solutions, we will accelerate our push into the North American market and strengthen our market leadership as a game-changer in the DC era."
