Hyundai Motor will expand the point-based membership "Bluemembers" to a family-based system. Bluemembers is a service that allows users to spend points like cash not only on vehicle purchases and maintenance but also at a range of partners, including gas stations, shopping, and dining, and it had previously been operated on an individual basis.
Hyundai said on the 1st that it will introduce a family-based membership system called "Family Membership" within Bluemembers. With this, family members can earn and share points together and enjoy benefits together.
To join the Bluemembers Family Membership, a family representative should create a family group on Hyundai.com and then accept the applications sent by family members. Regardless of vehicle ownership, up to eight people can participate, including a spouse, lineal ascendants and descendants, and siblings.
Hyundai Motor will hold a launch event from today through July 31. If two or more family members, including the representative, join the Family Membership during the period, prizes such as up to 1 million points, a Jeju Haevichi Hotel accommodation voucher, and a theme park pass will be offered.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "Through the Bluemembers Family Membership, we will offer a new experience in which the whole family enjoys benefits together
