Resource-circulation energy corporations DS Dansuk is accelerating its push into overseas markets by taking part one after another in global materials industry exhibitions held in the United States and China.
DS Dansuk said on the 29th that it participated in the North American recycling industry association's annual convention "ReMA 2026," held in Las Vegas from the 13th to the 16th. It then also took part in "Chinaplas 2026," held in Shanghai from the 21st to the 24th, simultaneously strengthening its foothold in the North American and Asian markets.
"ReMA 2026" is North America's largest recycling materials industry event. Supply chains and market trends across the resource-circulation industry, including metals, rubber, glass, and textiles, are shared, and practical business matching takes place from raw material recovery to materials transaction.
DS Dansuk focused on introducing a strategy to expand its existing battery recycling business. Building on its current business of crushing and refining spent lead-acid batteries to produce secondary lead, it plans to expand into the VMR (Valuable Metals Recovery) segment.
VMR is a resource-circulation business that extracts and smelts high-value-added metals from silver and lead byproducts. At this event, DS Dansuk built a cooperation network and plans to expand an "urban mine" ecosystem that recovers rare metals from waste resources over the long term.
"Chinaplas 2026" is Asia's largest plastics and rubber industry exhibition. With buyers from 171 countries participating, the event is regarded as a global business platform encompassing materials, processing technologies, recycling, and smart manufacturing.
DS Dansuk focused on discovering new buyers centered on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) stabilizers and hydrotalcite (LDH), the core products of its plastics business. PVC stabilizers enhance the thermal stability and durability of PVC materials used in window frames, wire sheathing, and pipes.
Hydrotalcite (LDH) is a functional additive applied not only to PVC stabilizers but also to synthetic fibers such as spandex, improving material properties by reinforcing chlorine resistance and flame retardancy. DS Dansuk succeeded in commercializing this product domestically for the first time through its own process.
A DS Dansuk official said, "By participating in global exhibitions, we focused on rapidly expanding our overseas network," and noted, "We will broaden points of cooperation across our existing core businesses and connect them to tangible results."
