LS said on the 27th that a 177.1 billion won supply contract that its subsidiary LS Cable & System had signed with Anma Offshore Wind was terminated.
The terminated contract was for the supply and installation of onshore and offshore export cables for the "Anma Offshore Wind farm Project (Anma Offshore Wind farm Project)."
The Anma Offshore Wind farm Project is a project to install 38 wind turbines with a capacity of 14 MW near the sea off Anmado, about 40 kilometers from the coast of Yeonggwang County, South Jeolla.
The termination amount is equivalent to 2.62% of LS Cable & System's 2024 sales on a consolidation basis.
LS Cable & System said it received a notice of termination from the ordering party on the 24th.
The original contract period was from July 7 last year to May 1, 2028.
