Mercedes-Benz Korea said on the 24th that it is launching a new trim of the business sedan "Mercedes-Benz E-Class," the "E 200 Exclusive," and will revamp the E-Class entry lineup.
The "E 200 Exclusive" replaces the "E 200 Avantgarde" in the existing lineup. With this, the E-Class entry-level lineup will be operated with two lines: the "E 200 Exclusive" and the "E 200 AMG" line.
As of now, the E-Class is offered in a total of eight trims, including ▲ E 220 d 4MATIC Exclusive ▲ E 300 4MATIC Exclusive ▲ E 300 4MATIC AMG Line ▲ E 350 e 4MATIC Exclusive ▲ E 450 4MATIC AMG Line ▲ E 450 4MATIC Exclusive.
The "E 200 Exclusive" features the "Exclusive" design that emphasizes a luxurious feel inside and out. It is equipped with a 4-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers a maximum output of 204 horsepower and peak torque of 32.6 ㎏f·m.
It also comes with a 48V mild-hybrid system, with a second-generation integrated starter-generator supplying additional power to the engine to provide up to 17 kW of extra force during acceleration. It is certified as a low-emission vehicle, type 2, so buyers can receive benefits such as reduced congestion tolls and discounted parking fees at public parking lots.
The "E 200 Exclusive" is fitted with "T map Auto," tailored to the third-generation MBUX infotainment system. Users can access the linked head-up display and MBUX augmented reality navigation.
In addition, it comes standard with options favored by Korean customers, including ▲ wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ▲ panoramic sunroof ▲ heated and ventilated front seats ▲ heated rear seats ▲ heated steering wheel ▲ Hands-Free Access ▲ power trunk.
Reflecting value-added tax and the special consumption tax reduction, the price of the "E 200 Exclusive" is 76.6 million won.
