Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) said on the 23rd it will hire 102 new employees in the first half of 2026, including full-time staff and youth interns.
Full-time hiring totals 60 positions, including 42 in administration and 18 in technology. To ensure social equity in hiring, 12 veterans will be recruited through a limited-competition process, and five holders of professional licenses such as attorneys and certified public accountants will be selected through a separate procedure.
Applications can be submitted online through the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) recruitment website from Apr. 24 to May 7. The selection process consists of ▲ document screening ▲ a written test (NCS basic vocational competency assessment and job knowledge assessment) ▲ first- and second-round interviews, and final hires will join in July.
This recruitment places no restrictions on education, place of origin, or age and will be conducted as a blind hiring process based on the National Competency Standards (NCS). In particular, the agency plans to expand socially equitable hiring, including for veterans and people with disabilities, and to actively support the government's balanced regional growth policy by continuing to hire regional talent.
Kang Seok-jin, chair of Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), said, "We hope to see strong interest and applications from talented individuals with outstanding capabilities and a spirit of challenge who will grow together with small and midsize startups, the backbone of our economy."
Separately, Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) will recruit 42 experiential youth interns starting on the 30th to support youth employment.
The selection process consists of ▲ document screening ▲ interview screening, and final hires are scheduled to join in June. The agency plans to strengthen youth employment support by providing preferential treatment to those who complete the youth internship when they later apply for full-time positions at Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME).
