AI entertainment tech corporations Galaxy Corporation said on the 21st that it will join President Lee Jae-myung's state-visit business delegation to India and Vietnam to step up efforts to expand global economic cooperation.
Galaxy Corporation CEO Choi Yong-ho, born in 1989, was listed as the youngest corporations CEO in the delegation of about 200 leading Korean business figures. As a young, innovative entrepreneur representing Korea, Choi will take part in economic diplomacy events at the national level.
Galaxy Corporation, known as the agency of singer G-Dragon (GD), plans to use its participation in the delegation to seek opportunities for AI- and robot-based business cooperation focused on India and Vietnam. The company's management will attend key events in person to build networks with local corporations and institutions and strengthen the foundation for cooperation.
CEO Choi Yong-ho will participate in a business forum in New Delhi to present the status of Korea's AI, robotics, and entertech industries. He will also review potential cooperation with the rapidly growing Indian market.
Founded in 2019, Galaxy Corporation posted sales of 298.8 billion won and operating profit of 12.5 billion won last year, showing rapid growth.
Galaxy Corporation plans to accelerate business expansion centered on AI and robotics technologies by leveraging its global bases, including India and Vietnam, the destinations of this tour, as well as a recently established Dubai subsidiary. It also plans to focus on strengthening the global competitiveness of the K-entertech industry.
CEO Choi Yong-ho said, "I am honored to join the government business delegation," and added, "We expect new synergies based on AI and robotics through cooperation between the Indian and Korean entertech industries."
