DOUZONE BIZON CO. will join hands with Replit, a global vibe coding platform corporations, to host a makeathon where anyone with an idea can create software.
DOUZONE BIZON CO. said on the 20th that it will hold DOUZONE Makeathon 2026 with Replit on May 7 at the ATEC in the Douzone Eulji Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event will use a vibe coding environment to complete a real-world project in a single day—from planning to development to presentation—through conversational interactions without complex environment setup.
The core of this makeathon is that even without technical background knowledge, participants can turn their digital ideas into reality. Participants will experience building full-stack solutions without separate coding proficiency through Replit's AI-based development environment. This is expected to serve as a venue to practice the value of enjoying technology that DOUZONE BIZON CO. pursues—namely, a new code of conduct in the AX (AI transformation) era where users become direct owners of technology and maximize their creative potential.
The event will proceed in the following order: ▲ AI special lecture and idea expansion ▲ Replit tutorial and vibe coding introduction ▲ four hours of focused development ▲ result presentations and awards. On-site ad hoc team building will be supported so individual participants can collaborate with various partners. Participants will receive Replit credits needed for development, lunch, group apparel, and souvenirs.
Special prizes have also been prepared. The first-place team will receive a 1 million won gift certificate along with a one-year Replit Pro pass worth $1,200 as an additional prize. The second- and third-place teams will also receive tiered gift certificates and Replit credits, with a total of 5.8 million won in gift certificates and more than $6,000 in development credits provided.
Anyone with a Replit account, including students, office workers, and startup planners, can apply for free, with the first 50 accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Teams of two as well as individual applications are allowed. Details can be found on the official Douzone ICT Group website.
