Hyundai Motor said on the 17th it will launch an additional warranty product for customers who buy Hyundai certified pre-owned cars, called "Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Plus."
Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned Warranty Plus is a customized extended warranty product. The key is that it offers additional coverage on top of the existing basic warranty service. Customers who purchase Hyundai certified pre-owned cars can enroll regardless of the vehicle's model year and mileage. The enrollment price varies by model.
In particular, there is no deductible for warranty repairs. Only new parts, not remanufactured parts, are used. Warranty repair service is available at more than 1,230 service networks nationwide. The warranty scope includes general parts, heating and cooling parts, and powertrain and engine.
Depending on the vehicle class and driving pattern, customers can choose to enroll for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months. The mileage limits by warranty period are 5,000 km, 10,000 km, 15,000 km, and 20,000 km, respectively.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "We have prepared a service so that customers who choose certified pre-owned cars can drive with peace of mind even after purchasing the vehicle."
