BYD Korea said on the 16th that it released the "Plus" trim of the coupe-style electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) "2027 Sealion 7," adding premium features.
The 2027 Sealion 7 Plus strengthens seat-related features. Instead of the synthetic leather seats installed in the base model, natural Nappa leather seats are applied. It also adds a driver's memory seat that automatically adjusts to a preset position, a four-way power lumbar support with up-down and fore-aft adjustment, and a power leg support that supports the legs.
It also comes with a driver's easy access function, in which the seat and steering wheel move automatically to secure space for easier entry and exit.
The sound system has also been upgraded. Twelve speakers from Dynaudio, a global high-end audio brand, are installed. In addition, a head-up display and auto-dipping outside mirrors linked to reverse gear to help with rear visibility have been added.
The 2027 Sealion 7 is priced at 44.9 million won, and the Sealion 7 Plus at 46.9 million won. These prices are before subsidies. A BYD Korea official said, "With national subsidies and local subsidies applied, the actual purchase price in Seoul comes to the low 42 million won range and low 44 million won range, respectively."
