SNT Dynamics said on the 15th that it obtained an accredited cybersecurity certification qualification from the U.S. Department of Defense (War Department).
The person who obtained the certification qualification is Jeong Gi-yeol, SNT Dynamics chief information security officer (CISO). Jeong obtained the Lead CCA (Lead CCA·CMMC Certified Assessor), a core expert qualification under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
Lead CCA is the highest-level expert qualification overseeing CMMC assessments and certifications, and the number of holders is limited. As of now, outside the United States, only two in Korea, one in Canada, and one in Sweden hold it. Among domestic defense corporations, SNT Dynamics is the only one.
In particular, because this qualification is a prerequisite for contracts with the United States, SNT Dynamics plans to expand exports such as maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for the U.S. military based on its cybersecurity credentials.
An SNT Dynamics official said it was "an example that demonstrates the level of cybersecurity expertise and leadership."
SNT Dynamics is the only domestic defense corporation to have obtained this qualification.
