FLO Auto Korea (FLAK) said on the 15th it will officially launch the 2026 New Ford Explorer, a large sport-utility vehicle (SUV).
The new Explorer comes in three trims. The Tremor, unveiled in Korea for the first time, delivers strong off-road performance based on a 3.0-liter (L) EcoBoost V6 engine.
The Tremor produces a maximum output of 406 horsepower and peak torque of 57 kg·m. The Tremor-exclusive Torsen limited-slip rear axle that automatically distributes torque and the off-road tuned suspension with dedicated sway bar and springs effectively control body movement, optimizing it for both on- and off-road driving.
It also offers the steady-selling ST-Line trim with a 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine and the Platinum premium trim that prioritizes comfort.
All trims come standard with a four-wheel-drive system and a terrain management system that supports six drive modes. The advanced driver-assistance system Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 integrates a blind spot information system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system, and evasive steering assist, among others.
Including value-added tax and a 3.5% special consumption tax, the 2026 Explorer is priced at 88.5 million won for the Tremor, 77.5 million won for the ST-Line, and 84.5 million won for the Platinum.
Lee Yundong, CEO of FLO Auto Korea, said, "The 2026 New Ford Explorer offers the best option for domestic customers who enjoy diverse lifestyles," and added, "We will continue to faithfully reflect customer needs and consistently deliver the values and experiences the Explorer pursues."
