T'way Air said on the 12th it will run a "our neighborhood discount" promotion for travelers departing from regional airports through the 23rd.
The promotion is available on the official website and the mobile app (web), and applies to domestic and international routes departing from Busan, Daegu, Cheongju, Jeju, and Gwangju. The travel period runs through Oct. 24 and varies by route.
When booking tickets, customers can receive special discount coupons on the event page. For international routes, a coupon of up to 20,000 won is offered for payments of 250,000 won or more, and for domestic routes, a coupon of up to 5,000 won is offered for payments of 150,000 won or more.
T'way Air also offers various member benefits, including a welcome coupon pack provided upon new membership registration on the website, exemption from ticketing fees, special fare alert services, and member-only discount codes.
T'way Air said on the 31st it received approval at a recent regular shareholders meeting for a partial amendment of its articles of incorporation to change its corporate name, and will change the company name to Trinity Airways Co., Ltd (Trinity Airways Co., Ltd).
A T'way Air official said, "We prepared benefits so customers using regional airports can plan trips at more reasonable prices," and added, "We will continue to work to provide convenient travel with safety in operations as the top priority."
