Hyundai Motor said on the 10th that it opened Hyundai Conversion Plus, a commercial vehicle technical information platform for specialty vehicle companies.
Hyundai Conversion Plus, a major overhaul of the commercial technical information portal previously operated for domestic companies, strengthened user convenience by reflecting the opinions of specialty vehicle companies. It is available in 15 languages in about 120 countries around the world, including Europe, Asia, Central and South America, Africa, and the Middle East as well as Korea, improving access to global markets.
On Hyundai Conversion Plus, Hyundai Motor supports commercial vehicle technical information such as bodybuilder manuals needed when manufacturing specialty vehicles, bodybuilder drawings, which are technical drawings listing exterior dimensions by specification, and regulatory certification materials.
In addition to conventional flat 2D drawings, it also provides three-dimensional 3D drawings. This is intended to minimize design errors that can occur during the specialty vehicle manufacturing process and to improve quality and safety. An integrated model-by-model search function has also been added for all commercial vehicle lineups from small to large.
In line with the launch of the platform, a Technical Hotline connecting overseas subsidiaries, headquarters, and the research center will also be established and operated to respond quickly to technical issues arising in the field.
