Jeep said on the 10th that it will release this year's first special model, the "Wrangler Rubicon Trail Hunt Edition," limited to 20 units in Korea. The edition was inspired by the classic adventure film "Indiana Jones."
The Trail Hunt Edition comes in two colors, white and anvil, and includes high-priced Mopar genuine accessories that are highly useful for off-road driving as standard. Starting with a 2-inch lift kit (3.3 million won), it supports extreme off-road performance with beadlock wheels (6.41 million won) that help prevent tire detachment on rough terrain, and a roof rack and side ladder (1.33 million won) for efficient loading of expedition gear.
Added to this are Mopar genuine accessories such as a front air deflector (280,000 won) effective at preventing front windshield contamination, performance wipers (420,000 won) with 12 laser-cut holes for improved cleaning, and side decals (decorative stickers, 230,000 won) that depict the terrain of Moab, Jordan.
Jeep offers benefits worth 13.25 million won, including installation labor, for these six core accessories. Even so, the vehicle price is set at 95.7 million won, an increase of 8.8 million won compared with the existing Rubicon hardtop model.
The Wrangler Rubicon delivers a maximum output of 272 horsepower and peak torque of 40.8 kg·m. It pairs a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 4:1 Rock-Trac HD full-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system and Off-Road Plus mode provide strong traction even on rough terrain.
Bangsil, head of Stellantis Korea, said, "To ensure that customers who yearn for adventures like Indiana Jones can always set out to find new challenges with peace of mind, Jeep will provide the best genuine tuning experience backed by our quality assurance."
