Minister Han Seong-sook of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups said she will continue to push to sell three dwellings she owns even if the measure excluding heavy taxation on capital gains ends on the 9th of next month.
According to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) on the 9th, the Minister has put up for sale three dwellings she owns—a detached house in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province; an apartment in Songpa-gu, Seoul; and a detached house in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu.
The detached house in Yangju-si, Gyeonggi Province, is co-owned, and the officetel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, is not classified as a "dwelling" under the asset disclosure standards for public officials. Accordingly, the Minister's official number of dwellings is three.
Meanwhile, the Minister's mother recently moved to another place to facilitate the smooth sale of the apartment in Songpa-gu where she had been living.
