Hyundai Motor said on Apr. 7 it will release the model-year change of the small sport utility vehicle (SUV) Kona, the "2027 Kona."
Hyundai Motor made features that had high customer preference standard on the 2027 Kona "H-Pick" trim and lowered the price of the "Modern" trim by streamlining its features.
The H-Pick trim comes with dual fully automatic air conditioning, a 12.3-inch navigation system, a rain sensor, 18-inch alloy wheels and more. For the Modern trim, features such as synthetic leather seats and synthetic leather interior are offered as an option package.
The hybrid model also saw feature adjustments. A 12.3-inch navigation system and an ECM rearview mirror are bundled into the "Comfort Choice" option, cutting the price by 590,000 won.
Hyundai Motor also decided to support recently introduced infotainment themes, including "Pokémon Pikachu Thunderbolt," on the 2027 Kona as a subscription service (FoD).
A Hyundai Motor official said, "We refined the lineup of the 2027 Kona so it can satisfy everyone from customers who prioritize affordability to those who want differentiated luxury."
Prices for the 2027 Kona with the 1.6 gasoline turbo are ▲ Modern 24.29 million won ▲ H-Pick 26.47 million won ▲ Premium 28.75 million won ▲ Inspiration 31.02 million won.
The 2.0 gasoline model is ▲ Modern 23.60 million won ▲ H-Pick 25.88 million won.
The 1.6 hybrid model is ▲ Modern 28.96 million won ▲ H-Pick 30.75 million won ▲ Premium 33.18 million won ▲ Inspiration 35.12 million won.
