Gasoline prices at Seoul gas stations have topped 2,000 won per liter. It is the fallout from the Middle East crisis that has continued for more than a month.
According to the oil price information system Opinet on the 7th, as of 9 a.m. that day, the average gasoline price in Seoul was 2,000.27 won per liter. Compared with 2 a.m. that day, it was up 9.88 won; the lowest gasoline price in Seoul was 1,838 won, while the highest was 2,498 won.
The diesel price in Seoul was 1,979.61 won, nearing 2,000 won. The lowest diesel price in Seoul was 1,825 won, and the highest was 2,480 won, with some stations already selling diesel for more than 2,000 won per liter.
The national average gasoline price was 1,964.72 won, and the diesel price was 1,955.64 won. With Seoul's gasoline price, the nation's highest, surpassing the 2,000-won range, the national gasoline price is expected to enter the 2,000-won range soon.
