The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises said on the 7th that it appointed Yang Chan-hoe, head of the Innovation Growth Division, as the new executive managing director. The term will be three years starting on the 10th.
Executive managing director Yang Chan-hoe graduated from Suncheon High School, the Department of Law at Dongguk University, and the Graduate School of Business Administration at Dankook University, and is an internal expert who has held key posts since joining the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises in 1993. Yang served as head of mutual aid planning, head of shared growth, and head of cooperative policy, among other roles.
In particular, since 2021, as head of the Innovation Growth Division, Yang led the spread of smart factories and achieved results in introducing a system to link supply prices to input costs.
