LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A) said on the 3rd that it signed an agreement on the 2nd with Chung-Ang University for an "industry-academia contract department (industrial security department)" to strengthen industry-academia cooperation and foster talent.
LIG D&A and Chung-Ang University will establish a practical talent development system based on industry demand. By advancing a higher education model that minimizes the gap between university education and the industrial field, they aim to strengthen the foundation for the growth of corporations and promote industrial development.
The two sides will jointly handle curriculum design and field-centered education operations. Corporations can secure outstanding talent that can respond nimbly to a rapidly changing industrial environment, and universities can advance their industry-academia cooperation models. Students who pass the selection process after completing the program will be guaranteed employment after graduation.
