SK intellix has moved to strengthen its developer community to expand its AI wellness business.
SK intellix said on the 2nd that it held its first offline meetup for participants in the AI wellness robot "NAMUHX" hackathon and began building a foundation for ongoing collaboration and an open ecosystem.
Held on the 28th in Jongno, Seoul, at SK intellix headquarters, the event was part of NAMUHX's open ecosystem strategy and was designed to strengthen the cohesion of the online-centered developer community and activate exchanges among participants. In particular, many participants from the first hackathon in Dec. last year attended, confirming the potential to expand the community across online and offline.
Students majoring in AI, computer engineering, and software (SW) took part in the event. Participants listened to lectures on venture capital market trends, major investment cases, the startup ecosystem, and investment trends, deepening their understanding of entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. They also discussed the future role and technological direction of wellness robots on the premise of commercializing the Humanoid Robot. Opinions were actively shared on the potential to expand into personalized healthcare and services closely connected to daily life.
An SK intellix official said, "This offline meetup served as a catalyst to further energize the NAMUHX developer community," and added, "We will continue to strengthen our relationships with developers through a variety of programs."
Meanwhile, SK intellix plans to hold the second NAMUHX hackathon in the first half of this year. The company said it will organically connect hackathons, online communities, and offline meetups to continuously expand its developer pool based on an open ecosystem.
