Honda Korea said on the 1st that it appointed Lee Jun-taek (photo), Head of Team of the automobile division's sales team, as executive director of the automobile division.
The new executive director will oversee Honda Korea's entire automobile division, including domestic Honda automobile sales and marketing and service.
The new executive director joined Honda Korea in 2003 and handled various roles within the automobile division, including certification, product planning, dealer network development, and sales. In 2023, when Honda Korea fully shifted to an integrated on-offline "omni business system," the then Head of Team of sales played a key role.
Honda Korea CEO Lee Ji-hong said, "We expect to be able to lead the automobile institutional sector based on the new executive director's expertise."
