Dongkuk Steel said on the 31st that Dongkuk Steel Mill will openly recruit new and experienced employees in 2026.
The new employee recruitment covers 18 roles, and the deadline runs until May 12.
By business sites, the Seoul headquarters has four institutional sector openings: planning, production planning and control, legal affairs, and overseas sales.
The Incheon plant has four roles: facilities management (mechanical), production management (bar steel), logistics, and human resources and labor.
The Pohang plant has six roles, including production management (steelmaking), quality control, quality assurance, logistics, human resources and labor, and procurement (domestic).
The Dangjin plant has three roles: production management (plate), facilities management (electrical), and human resources and general affairs, and the Central Technology Research Center will recruit new employees for one role in heavy plate research.
Experienced employees will be recruited for a total of four roles until May 5.
By business sites, the Seoul headquarters will select for the attorney role, and the Central Technology Research Center will recruit experienced employees in smelting research.
At the Pohang plant, two roles are open: facilities management (mechanical) and facilities management (electrical).
The process will proceed in the order of application, document screening, interviews, and document verification and physical examination.
Whether candidates pass each stage and detailed schedules will be announced via the website or text message.
If finally accepted, new employees are expected to join around June, and experienced employees will be arranged separately.

Dongkuk Steel Mill posted interview videos of employees from about 20 teams on the group's YouTube channel to help applicants better understand the roles.
