Asiana Airlines said on the 31st it launched its first scheduled service on the Incheon–Milan route.
The route operates three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing Incheon International Airport at 1:45 p.m. and arriving at 8 p.m. local time.
The return flight departs at 10 p.m. local time and arrives at Incheon Airport at 4:35 p.m. the following day. An A350 with 311 seats is assigned to the route.
Asiana Airlines held a launch event at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 on the day of the first Incheon–Milan flight, giving gifts to boarding passengers and more.
Park Jong-man, head of passenger business at Asiana Airlines, said, "With the launch of the Milan route, we aimed to broaden customers' options for travel to Europe," and added, "We will continue to operate the route with safety as the top priority."
