HD Hyundai said on the 26th that Chair Chung Ki-sun visited HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding and HD Hyundai Ecovina on the 24th to 25th (local time) to inspect plant equipment and safety facilities and to encourage employees.
On the 24th, Chung visited HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding in Khanh Hoa Province in south-central Vietnam, toured the yard, and checked the construction process of a petrochemical product carrier (PC).
The previous day, he visited HD Hyundai Ecovina, located about 120 km south of Da Nang. Acquired in Dec. last year, HD Hyundai Ecovina is a business site that HD Hyundai is fostering as a base for an eco-friendly standalone tank fabrication hub and for the port crane business in Asia. Chung toured various facilities, including the tank fabrication plant construction site, port cranes, and the LNG module production plant.
Having lunch with dispatched executives and employees, Chung said, "The foundation of running a company is the field, and I believe every answer to a problem is found in the field." He added, "I will never forget my gratitude for the field, and whenever there is a challenge, I will visit frequently to work with you to find solutions."
