BMW Korea said on the 23rd that the New BMW iX3, which began preorders on the 19th, surpassed 2,000 units in three days.
The New BMW iX3 is the first mass-produced model built on BMW's next-generation electric vehicle strategy, Noirer Klasse. BMW Korea said it sets a new standard with a completely redesigned look and digital experience, along with a next-generation powertrain.
The exterior emphasizes a futuristic image with a vertical kidney grille and twin headlights. Inside, BMW's first Panoramic iDrive delivers an intuitive user experience. With 6th-generation eDrive technology and an 800V high-voltage system, it secures a maximum WLTP range of 805 km. With a 400 kW fast charger, it can cover up to 372 km in 10 minutes. It delivers a maximum output of 469 horsepower and peak torque of 65.8 kg·m. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Han Sang-yoon, head of BMW Korea, said, "This is the result of synergy between the Korean market's high receptivity to technology and the New iX3's innovation," and added, "We will continue to present new digital experiences and sustainable value through models based on Noirer Klasse."
Prices are set at 86.9 million won for the New BMW iX3 50 xDrive M Sport and 91.9 million won for the M Sport Pro. The domestic launch is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
