Genesis, the premium brand of Hyundai Motor, said on the 19th it will launch the refreshed "2027 GV60" and "2027 GV70 Electrified."
Genesis said it enhanced convenience and safety for customers while keeping the 2027 GV60's sticker price unchanged. In particular, a pedal misapplication safety assist feature now comes standard. The feature limits torque automatically when the accelerator pedal is fully pressed with an obstacle detected within 1.5 meters front or rear while stopped or traveling at low speed.
The 2027 GV70 Electrified comes standard with an Ergo Motion driver's seat and extends the built-in cam recording time significantly from 20 hours to 120 hours. Genesis noted the Ergo Motion seat is characterized by comfort and reduces driver fatigue. It will also newly offer the "Popular Package II," which bundles options favored on the GV70 internal combustion model. This combines the Driving Assistance Package II, second-row comfort features, and a built-in cam.
To mark the launch, Genesis is holding a best test-drive review event. Details are available on the customer center events page of the official Genesis website. A Genesis official said, "Genesis EVs have consistently earned high marks by delivering the dynamic performance expected of an EV while also emphasizing smooth, premium driving feel and quietness."
The 2027 GV60 starts at 64.9 million won. The 2027 GV70 Electrified starts at 75.8 million won.
