KG Mobility (KGM), which posted 4 trillion won in revenue on a consolidation basis last year to mark its best performance since its founding, will expand exports with a focus on Türkiye. With new models such as the Musso pickup truck at the forefront, the company plans to continue its growth this year by increasing market share in Europe and Latin America.
According to the auto industry on the 19th, KGM reached cumulative sales of 50,000 units in Türkiye last year. In particular, 11,122 units were sold in 2024 and 13,337 units in 2025, making Türkiye KGM's largest export market. Last year, Türkiye accounted for about 20% of total export volume. In 2024, KGM was also selected as the "fastest-growing brand" in Türkiye.
Sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and pickup trucks drove KGM's growth in Türkiye. The Turkish market has a strong preference for SUVs, and interest in eco-friendly cars is growing quickly as demand rises to save on fuel costs. KGM said the Torres EV, an electric SUV, and the Musso EV, an electric pickup truck, matched market demand precisely.
KGM is also expanding in Europe and Latin America. The Musso EV, the Torres hybrid, and the Actyon hybrid led sales. That is because they have been supplied as official vehicles in countries such as Peru and Spain. KGM's export volume last year was 70,286 units. That was up 12.7% from 62,378 units in 2024, marking the largest exports in 11 years.
Buoyed by these export results, KGM's annual revenue on a consolidation basis surpassed 4 trillion won last year. Operating profit for the year was 53.6 billion won, more than quadrupling from 2024. Observers say the company has established a stable profit structure, recording a surplus for three consecutive years since 2023.
KGM plans to broaden its footing by launching the internal-combustion Musso in Korea as well as in Europe and Latin America this year. The Musso has surpassed 5,000 cumulative contracts in Korea alone as of early this month. The Musso is characterized by a wide range of lineups that allow consumers to choose the powertrain and the deck (cargo space), expanding their options.
A KGM official said, "This year, through our new-model strategy and expansion in global markets, we will pursue not only sales growth but also improved profitability at the same time."
