Hyundai Steel said on the 18th that it held the 2026 Hyundai Steel customer companionship New Year's gathering.
The event was held on the 13th at the Haevichi Hotel in Jeju, with more than 120 attendees, including President Lee Bo-ryong and Hyundai Steel executives and employees, as well as chief executives of major client companies.
This year's event was held under the theme of "strengthening collaboration based on trust with client companies," and included sharing of this year's market outlook and business plans.
President Lee Bo-ryong, along with Vice President Kim Kwang-pyeong of the Planning and Finance Division and Managing Director Kim Seong-min of the Sales Division, also shared the mid- to long-term roadmap "VISION 2032," and ran a candid corner in which key management answered questions submitted in advance by client companies.
In addition, six client companies that worked for shared growth despite difficult conditions last year were selected to receive plaques of appreciation.
President Lee Bo-ryong said, "The steel industry is facing a challenging business environment, including the entrenchment of global low growth and an oversupplied steel industry structure," adding, "We will stay closely in step with customers and realize Hyundai Steel's future growth roadmap together."
