Taekwang Industrial said on the 12th that it appointed Executive Vice President Lee Bu-ui, head of business operations, as the new CEO following the resignation of CEO Yoo Tae-ho.
The new CEO, Lee Bu-ui, born in 1966, graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). After serving as an associate managing director in charge of business planning at the petrochemical business division of Daelim Construction, Lee served as head of planning (executive vice president) at the support team of the Future Management Council of Taekwang Group. Lee is currently serving as executive vice president overseeing business operations at Taekwang Industrial.
Former CEO Yoo resigned for personal reasons. The personnel change took effect on the 12th.
