Korea Zinc said on the 10th it will take part in InterBattery 2026, a domestic exhibition specializing in batteries.
Korea Zinc has participated in InterBattery since 2022, and this year it plans to showcase its technology to produce not only secondary battery materials but also critical minerals through its exhibition booth.
To that end, Korea Zinc will organize the booth into eight zones: ▲ secondary battery materials (copper foil, nickel sulfate, precursor) value chain diorama ▲ critical minerals ▲ U.S. integrated smelter ▲ 52 years of technological prowess ▲ company introduction ▲ global network.
The secondary battery materials diorama depicts the value chain of the company's secondary battery materials business, which produces copper foil, nickel sulfate and precursors and is being organically advanced. Around the diorama, separate copper foil, nickel sulfate and precursor zones will allow visitors to check raw materials and product models.
The critical minerals zone will feature models of more than 10 nonferrous metals and critical minerals to be produced at the U.S. integrated smelter. In addition, graphics will present a vision for securing demand by establishing a U.S. strategic base and for supply chain cooperation with the United States.
The company introduction zone will explain the technological prowess Korea Zinc has accumulated over 52 years and provide detailed information on the national core technologies it holds and its world-only integrated zinc-lead-copper process.
Korea Zinc said it aims to enable exhibition participants to see how the company is expanding its business areas at home and abroad through its new business strategy, the "Troika Drive."
A Korea Zinc official said, "At this InterBattery 2026 exhibition, visitors will be able to see Korea Zinc's world-class technological capabilities in producing essential materials for advanced and defense industries, ranging from secondary battery materials to critical minerals."
